Assessment fees range from approximately $1,500 to $3,300, depending on the type of assessment that is required.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be taken at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

On completion of the initial intake session the full projected fee for the assessment is due (minus the $500 deposit). Any outstanding balances are due on the day of the feedback session. 

NOTE: The assessment report will not be released to clients until the full account balance has been paid.

It is important to note that assessments do not qualify for Medicare rebates, unless a valid ‘Helping Children With Autism’ (HCWA) referral is provided by your paediatrician or psychiatrist.

Subsequent sessions

So that the psychologist's time is utilised effectively, a cancellation fee to the value of 100% of the session fee applies if, after the initial intake session, the client does not attend scheduled appointments, or gives less than 48 hours notice of non-attendance.

Cancellation of assessment after commencement

Assessments are conducted over multiple sessions, with time allocated between sessions for the psychologist to write the comprehensive report. If the rest of an assessment is cancelled after some sessions have been attended, then the deposit amount and the instalments due by those sessions attended will be non-refundable.
